Background

Q. Can you tell something about yourself and your pre-MBA qualifications?
A. Nitin Gupta, B.tech. from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering.
Worked 2 years with Satyam Computers on key projects related to energy and then consumer finance arm for the client GE.
Now in the 2nd year of MBA (Management of Services) at FMS, Delhi University.

Q. So when did you decide to go for MBA?
A. I always wanted to do MBA right from my high school days. In my engineering days, I decided to work for a couple of years to gain the industry insight before finally joining MBA.

Q. What was your first step to start preparation for getting into the school of your choice?
A. I talked to friends who were doing MBA and started collecting information about various B-schools and their admission procedure through sites like Coolavenues.com.

Q. Which MBA institutes and programs you identified for your MBA?
A. All 6 IIMs, FMS-Delhi, XLRI-Jamshedpur.
