Q. Was Group Discussion
or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Yes, Group Discussion was a part of the selection process.
Q. The duration of
Group Discussion, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. The Group Discussion typically lasted for about 10-12 minutes with
8-10 students. There were typically 2 panelists, some also had 3 panelists.

Discussion topic?
A. Is the MBA over-rated in India?
Q. Tell us about your
Group Discussion experience?
A. My Group Discussion experience was quite good, I was able to give
direction to the team on many occasions, I introduced the topic and gave many
relevant points.
Q. How was the
environment during discussion?
A. It was a heathy discussion, though close to the end, at times, it got
heated which we were able to manage. The conclusion was agreed upon by everyone.
Q. Describe your
impression of the your team members and overall Group Discussion process.
A. Most of them were freshers with good marks. They had good command over
English. It was a healthy discussion and the process was managed well.
Q. Some handy tips that
would be of great help.
A. Be calm, make relevant points, manage your body language and make
eye-contact with everyone in the Group Discussion. Never get too personal or too
aggressive.
Q. Were there any set
norms of Group Discussion?
A. Timing was the only thing we were told about.
