Joining MBA
Q. After joining the
school, did you ever wish that you should have known certain more things about
the school before you became part of it? What are those?
A. No, since I had done my home work well, there were no surprises. I
already had some of my friends from this institute, that also helped.
Q. What is the toughest
area to handle in your studies?
A. Calculus. Getting used to the rigors of class after 4 years of
working.
Q. Is there stress
level during studies?
A. Some amount of stress is necessary, which is present. The structure of
the programme puts the student into facing a lot of challenging situations, so
the student does need to learn to manage it well.
Q. Which one is your
best subject
A. Accounting & Financial Management
Q. Who is the best
faculty
A. It is hard to pin-point one single best faculty when we have so many
good ones. I would say that the top 3 are - Prof. Kanu Doshi, Prof. Sandeep
Gokhale & Prof. Smeeta Bhatkal.
Q. Scope of development
in your existing curriculum.
A. Well IB & VC+PE as an option are going to be launched this year, this
will cover the gap which is currently present.
Q. Tips for those who
wish to do MBA from your school.
A. Read a lot before your MBA, on as many diverse topics / issues as
possible. Know yourself inside out, introspection is something many students do
not do, but it is very important. It is ideal to decide beforehand which domain
you want to do your MBA in, it is very helpful and can provide a student the
ability to structure his/her plan accordingly which will give the best results.
