JMET Application Process
PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR JMET 2008
JMET 2008 Application Form may
either be submitted ONLINE (Internet based) or OFFLINE (by Post).
ONLINE submission of JMET
2008 application can be done by accessing the website of IIT Kharagpur,
http://gate.iitkgp.ac.in/jmet and following the instructions contained
therein.
For OFFLINE (by Post) submission,
use the form enclosed with the Brochure. Carefully fill-in all the items of the
forms after reading the instructions provided. Your photograph should be pasted
at the appropriate place provided in the form. You may keep an identical
photograph in reserve for future need. Keep a photocopy of the completed
application form for your record. Select two test cities of your choice in order
of preference from the list given and also indicate their city codes (Refer to
Table 3.2). The test cities cannot normally be changed once the choice is made.
Request for change of test city in exigencies should be accompanied by a Demand
Draft for Rs. 400/- drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur on any nationalised bank
payable at Kharagpur, West Bengal. Such request should reach The Chairman GATE,
IIT Kharagpur latest by November 29, 2007.

JMET 2008 Application Form only by Registered Post/Speed
