Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center is hosting a benefit on October 1 at 5:30 p.m. in the San Francisco neighborhood of North Beach. The event, which is held every year, is called Small Business/Big Impact, and awards the year's most talented entrepreneurs.
"This year's event is especially meaningful," said Sharon Miller, a CEO who will attend. "Small business is the engine of our economy. Everyone is fighting harder than ever to learn new skills and develop new business models that will keep their businesses alive and growing in these challenging times."
Some of the distinctions that will be presented include the Established Entrepreneur award, the Emerging Entrepreneur award and the Angela Cain Memorial Award.
