Q. Was Group Discussion or Group Exercise part of selection process?
A. Yes. There is Group Discussion in selection process to IBA.

Q. The duration of GD, size of the group, number of panelists, etc.
A. On the day I had Group Discussion, duration was 30 minutes (5 minutes to select topic, 25 minutes to discussion), size of each group was 10, there were 3 panelists.

Q. What was your GD topic?
A. "Should Transportation in India Go Public or Not?"

Q. Tell us about your GD experience?
A. It was a group of 10 members, timing was 25 minutes. As I was in touch with business magazines, these helped me in putting the facts about the current on-going projects in transportations. I did very well in the GD, and finally I was through.

Q. How was the environment during discussion?
A. It was a type of cool discussion about the topic given, none of them were aggressive.

Q. Describe your impression of your team members and over-all GD process ?
A. Really, our team was having students with very good knowledge, they were co-operative and willing to give the chance to all the members in the team to talk.

Q. Some handy tips that would be of great help.
A. In GD, a person should put up the right facts to the topic given and discuss. They should also give chance to others to talk in the team, which brings up your leadership qualities.

Q. Were there any set norms of Group Discussion?
A. They just told us that it should be a discussion and not the debate.
