Background

Q. Can you tell something about yourself and your pre-MBA qualifications?
A. I'm a graduate in Science and post graduate in Garment Manufacturing Technology from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). Before joining MBA, I have worked in garment export companies for more than three years and looked after buyers like Gap and J C Penny.

Q. So when did you decide to go for MBA?
A. After working for more than three years in exports companies, I realized the importance of having a management degree. The garment exports companies are very unorganized and need professionals to make them organized. That actually influenced me to join an MBA. I started my preparation in the month of May, six months prior to the CAT Examination.

Q. What was your first step to start preparation for getting into the school of your choice?
A. First of all, I improved my basics in Mathematics and English as I believe it is the foremost for any competitive exam.

Q. Which MBA institutes and programs you identified for your MBA?
A. I was looking for some decent institutes, basically top-10 which could give me an in-depth knowledge with all the practical experience
