Q. When did you start
your preparation?
A. I started my preparation 10 months before CAT.
Q. How many months and
how many hours daily did you devote for preparation to entrance procedures?
A. In routine, I attended my classes regularly. But 4 months prior to
CAT, I actually stated preparing for CAT. In routine, I prepared for 8-10 hours
weekly for CAT.
Q. Did you take up some
coaching institute or you believed in self-study?
A. I had joined PT Education for CAT preparation.
Q. Can you tell us
which are your favorite books, books that you used for preparing for entrance,
books for self-development and books for pure relaxation?
A. I had read following books: -
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
You Can Win
Movers and Shakers
Q. What was your
experience with coaching?
A. At PT Education, coaching was good. I think if you want to go for
class room coaching, then PT is the best. The main thing about PT is that there
study materials are very good.
Q. What are the others
books & tests which you used for your MBA preparation?
A. I haven't used any other books for preparation other than PT study
materials.
Q. What was your
strongest and weakest area while preparing for MBA coaching?
A. I was very strong in Quant and DI, whereas I was very weak in English.
Q. Some tips which you
used for mastering Quant, RC, etc.
A. I think if you want to be a master of Quant, then don't just mug up
the formulae, but understand them and be very strong in some areas where you can
solve any problems.
Q. How much time did
you put for MBA preparation everyday? How did you manage this while
working/studying full-time?
A. It's difficult to say about everyday, because I prepared at my
coaching classes only. I used to go for 1 or 2 hours before the classes started
and revised the previous session.
Q. Which all Exams and
B-schools you applied to?
A. Apart from CAT, I had appeared for SNAP.

A. 90+ percentile in CAT 2005 for 2006-2008 Batch
92+ percentile in CAT 2006 for 2007-2009 Batch.
