Background

Q. Can you tell something about yourself and your pre-MBA qualifications?
A. I've done my schooling till 10th standard in Johnson Grammar School, Hyderabad. I've done my intermediate education (equivalent to 11th and 12th standards) in Ratna Junior College, Hyderabad. After my twelfth standard, I did my graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
After my graduation, I worked as a Software Engineer at Satyam Computer Services Limited, HyderabadM for ten months. I resigned from my job on June 25, 2006 to join the PGDM Program at IIMK.

Q. So when did you decide to go for MBA?
A. I took the decision to pursue MBA in the pre-final year of my engineering. The resolve got strengthened during my job days. I decided to do an MBA initially for the challenge and fame that it promised. Later on, I realized that MBA was the way to obtain a career path that can assure growth beyond glass ceilings placed by specializations brought in due to one's qualifications.

Q. What was your first step to start preparation for getting into the school of your choice?
A. The first step was the collection of information, about the school and about the examination.

Q. Which MBA institutes and programs you identified for your MBA?
A. All IIMs.
