Hon'ble Mr. Rahul Gandhi lays foundation for IIITA's new extension Campus

Hon'ble Mr. Rahul Gandhi, son of late Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and MP from the Amethi Lok Sabha Constituency, laid the foundation stone for the new extension centre of IIIT-Allahabad at Amethi on 14th April. Also present on the historic occasion were Mr. Arjun Singh, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development, ex- Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Singh, local MLA Ms. Amita Singh and Mr. F.C. Kohli, Chairman of the Board of Governors at IIIT-A and several other eminent political and academic personalities. The extension centre was baptized as the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology.
