HTML clipboardMaster of Business Administration in Retail Management The mission of the Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Retail Management is to provide a comprehensive education in career-advancing business administration skills needed to be successful as a manager/administrator of a retail business, including accounting, information technology, economics, human resource management, leadership and organizational behavior, retail operations management, strategic retail management, retail services and marketing, international retailing, buyer behavior, retail promotion and direct retailing methods. The mission will be accomplished by recruiting, educating, and graduating students who: � Develop knowledge and skills necessary for administrative level retail business management � Integrate academic knowledge into practical applied experiences � Demonstrate application of ethical retail business practices Admission Criteria � Bachelor's degree from an accredited university � Admission score of 1100 or greater, with a minimum GMAT score of 470*. Admission score is based on the following formula: GMAT + GPA (200) ≥ 1100 � Two recommendations attesting to the applicant's potential to successfully complete graduate study � Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended � Typed personal essay (minimum 500 words) in which you discuss your reasons for seeking graduate education. Include your career goals and how the graduate program in communication sciences and disorders would help to meet those goals, prior work/life experiences which relate to your interest in, and aptitude for, the graduate program for which you are applying; and your perception of your intellectual capability to successfully complete the graduate program � Minimum TOEFL score of 560 for individuals whose first language is not English Prerequisites An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution that includes the following courses: Principles of management Principles of marketing Statistics Principles of accounting (financial) Principles of accounting (managerial) Microeconomics Macroeconomics Principles of finance or Successful completion of MANG 500 Introduction to Business (6 credits) ** **Credits earned for MANG 500 (6 credits) will not count toward the 36 credit hours required for the degree.
