FPM applicants are required to appear for the CAT. On the basis of their performance in the CAT, suitable candidates will be called to Banglore for final selection. Applicants who plan to take GATE 2007 or have taken or plan to take GMAT or GRE in 2006 are also eligible to apply, without taking CAT.IIM PGDM holders who graduated in the year 1998 or later, with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.75 out of a maximum of 4 (or equivalent), are exempted from taking CAT and the first year course work.Students of M.E. and M.Tech programs from the IITs and IISc Bangalore, who are expected to graduate in 2007 with the minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4 or 7.5 out of 10 or equivalent are also exempt from taking CAT, but not the first year coursework. However, they must provide a copy of their GATE (2005) score, attested by their Head of the Department (HOD). Those without GATE (2005) score are not eligible to apply under this category.
