Masters
Program in International Business (MPIB)
It
is a two year full time residential course. It is an intensive
course specifically designed for a rewarding career in management,
globally. Students from diverse academic backgrounds: engineering,
pharmacy, physics, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, commerce
etc. provide a wholesome tone to this unique and interactive
program. The program is a unique blend of theory and practices
in business, both domestic and international.
This course has certain modules exclusive to the course such
as International Marketing & Overseas Market Research,International
Commercial Law, Exim Procedures and Documentation etc. These
modules prepare the students to strike the right note when they
go into the demanding world of Corporate Management. The Institute
follows a semester system to ensure in- depth coverage and evaluation
of every subject .
Eligibility
Graduates (12 years + 3 years) from a recognized University
with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation. (This is
the minimum percentage that must appear on the graduation Degree
certificate and mark list). Candidates appearing for the qualifying
exam in April 2005 may also apply. Admission of such candidates
will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the
event of non-fulfillment of the above requirements, or if the
degree certificates are not produced before October 2005.

conditions for Industry Sponsored Category
Candidate may be an employee, being selected for fast-track
movement by the organization, or Candidate may be son / daughter
of proprietor / owner / senior executive, in an organization
/ Industry (Public or Private) and should be sponsored by that
organization. Sponsoring company must undertake to offer / arrange
for the candidate's summer and final placement. Students sponsored
by Limited companies with turnover more than Rs. 25 crores will
be given preference.
Eligibility
conditions for NRI / Foreign Nationals Category
This category is meant for NRIs or children of NRI and Foreign
Nationals who would be required to attach proof of their NRI
status (copies of relevant pages of own/ parents passports,
along with the overseas employer's certificate of parent) /
nationality respectively. � Foreign nationals and NRIs, whose
qualifying examination is held abroad, if eligible, will be
considered for admission on the basis of having qualified the
GMAT and TOEFL examinations (with 600 and 620 score respectively).
Such students may be exempted from the written test and be graded
entirely on the basis of the remaining selection process if
the scores are provided along with the application.
Master's Programme in Agri-Business Management (MPABM)
It is a two year full time residential course. Agriculture
has long been seen as a sector with tremendous potential in
India. The sector contributed 22% to India�s GDP in the year
2003-04 and is expected to grow at more than 5% each year, in
real terms, over the next decade. This coupled with changing
global norms such as the WTO rulings and increased global competitiveness,
means that there is a tremendous need for professional courses
in agribusiness management, and makes it one of the most challenging
and exciting sectors to be in, either as a professional or as
an entrepreneur.
The MPABM course is thus a response to this growing need for
professionals who can contribute to and engineer the agribusiness
revolution. This course has certain modules exclusive to the
course such as Agriculture and WTO, Agro Export Management,
Agricultural Finance, etc. These modules prepare the students
to strike the right note when they go into the demanding world
of Agri-Business Management.
Eligibility
Graduates
in Agri Sciences or Agri - related disciplines with a minimum
of 50 % aggregate marks in graduation
OR
Non-Agri graduates with minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in graduation,
having a strong interest / work experience in agribusiness.

Admission
Procedure for MPIB & MPABM
Candidate
has to appear for SNAP Test on 18th December 05. The SNAP test
score will be one of the parameters for short-listing the candidates
for GD/PI. Other parameters include academic background and
SIIB will allot weightages as follows to the SNAP section wise
scores.

Group
Discussion, Personal Interviews, Psychometric Test & Written
Communication Test. The Group Discussion will be based on a
case study which will be followed by personal interview. The
Psychometric Test would evaluate the soft skills required in
a managerial position.
The final selection of students will be based on the performance
in Phase I and Phase II.

in International Business (DIB)
SIIB
offers an autonomous program exclusively in the field of International
Business that addresses the current needs of the industry. The
Diploma in International Business (DIB) is a one-year, part-time
evening course, especially for working professionals wishing
to enhance their qualification and promotion prospects.
The course provides a judicious blend of theory and practice
and thus prepares young professionals to meet contemporary global
requirements.
As the students are working persons, the emphasis is on the
practical aspects of foreign trade.Workshops and seminars are
organized by the students. Case studies are an integral part
