Offered
The
Educational programmes offered are:
PGD:ACM
: Advanced Construction Management
Two-year,
full time, residential Programme for degree holders, offered
from Pune, and Hyderabad.
This is a flagship campus studies course of NICMAR started with
UNDP/ILO technical assistance. Syllabus developed with
cooperation of MIT, USA. This unique two year programme trains
techno-managers for the construction industry and value leading
to career prospects.
The
students have the option to specialize in any one of the following
streams :
- Infrastructure Development & Management (IDM)
- Real Estate Development & Management (REDM)
Eligibility
Graduate in any branch of Engineering/Architecture/Quantity
Surveying from a recognized university with at
least 50 percent marks in qualifying exams. Preference will be
given to those having construction work experience, and to
candidates sponsored by their employers. Foreign candidates
should possess qualifications considered equivalent by British
Universities.
PGDM
: Post Graduate Diploma in Management
Two-year,
full time, residential Programme for degree holders, offered
from Pune.
This course is conceived and designed on the lines of leading
premier management institutions with a focus on General
Management. Its unique curriculum design covers all areas of
management and ensures a distinctive mix of core and elective
courses to build skills and competencies. It provides an ideal
mix of concepts, skills and exposure on real world applications.
On completion of the course the students are expected to be
placed at the middle and higher management cadre in industry in
India abroad.
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with at
least 50 percent marks in qualifying exams.
Preference will be given to those having work experience, and to
candidates sponsored by their employers. Foreign candidates
should possess qualifications considered equivalent by British
Universities.
PGD
PEM : Post Graduate Diploma in Project Engineering and
Management
Two-year,
full time, residential Programme for degree holders, offered
from Pune.
Projects growing in size and complexity are creating enormous
need for professionally educated, Project Engineers and Managers
capable of meeting the increasing demand in Engineering,
Execution and Management of the multidisciplinary projects in
Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum and Chemical fields along with
Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Automobile, Services and other sectors.
This two year full time Post Graduate Diploma programme aims at
developing professional project managers with the skills to
solve the multifaceted project management problems of all these
business sectors.
Eligibility
Bachelor�s
degree in any branch of Engineering from a recognized Indian
university with at least 50 percent marks in qualifying exams.
O R
Foreign candidates possessing qualifications considered
equivalent by British Universities. Preference will be given to
the candidates having previous work experience or those
sponsored by their employers.
Admission Procedure
The admission procedure is same for all three full time courses.
Selection
of students is done by the Selection Committee. Admissions work
is handled centrally at Pune. Those interested in admission to
the Programme should submit applications in the prescribed forms
to the Dy. Registrar (Acad.), NICMAR Pune along with the
required documents within the specified dates.
All applications for admission are scrutinized and eligibility
established on the basis of documents submitted.
Selection Procedure
The admission procedure is same for all three full time courses.
All eligible candidates are invited to undergo the selection
procedure which comprises the following:
i. Written Test � Test Covers Analytical, Quantitative and
Psychological Abilities and English Language
OR Valid MAT / GATE / XAT / ATMA / CAT / GMAT.
ii. Group Discussion (GD) &
Personal
Interview (PI)
