the best business schools by various independent surveys year

Offered
MBA Full Time Programme
The
MBA Program is a broad-based general management program designed
by ICFAI Business School to provide in-depth understanding to
students in technical, human and conceptual skills. The MBA
Program prepares men and women with the skills, knowledge and
strategic perspectives essential to the leadership of business
anywhere in the world.
The MBA Program is offered by IBS on a two-year, full-time,
campus-based format. In the two years of study at IBS, the MBA
students receive in-depth exposure and training in core subjects,
elective courses and integrated general management courses which
focus on both knowledge and skills. The courses are intellectually
demanding and are taught by faculty who encourage active student
participation in the classrooms through case discussions, quizzes,
management exercises, projects, etc.
During the second year, students are exposed to elective courses
in their field of specialization. These elective courses provide
an understanding of the specialized focused fields. They are:

Students who successfully complete the MBA Program will be awarded
the "Master of Business Administration" degree by
the University.
Eligibility
Graduation
(10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline, (English medium) with
50% and above aggregate marks.
All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of
formal schooling (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis) by April 30, 2006.
Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time
sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible for admission
to the management programs of ICFAI.
Students in their final year bachelor�s degree course are
also eligible to apply. Such applicants will have to produce
a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. For any
extension of this deadline, the applicants should apply separately,
giving the schedule of their graduation examination.
Selection Procedure
The selection process comprises of IBSAT and interviews. Applicants
are required to write the IBSAT 2005. Alternatively, GMAT scores
are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT code number of IBS is 7061.
The applicants short-listed on the basis of their performance
in the IBSAT 2005 are called for the interviews. The IBSAT scores
will be made available to the participating institutions namely
ICFAI Business School.Each participating institution determines
its own cut-off scores of IBSAT 2005 and calls the students
for interviews.
MBA
Part Time Programme
The
MBA Program (Part-time) developed by the ICFAI Business School
is a 3 year campus program on a part-time format, offered at
7 centers of IBS located all over India.
The MBA Program (Part-time) is designed to prepare the students
with skills, knowledge and strategic perspective essential to
the leadership of business anywhere in the world.
The electives are the same as that of the full time programme.
All the students who successfully complete the MBA Program (Part-time)
will be awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Degree from the ICFAI University.

CAs, CWAs, CSs and other Postgraduates (any discipline)
Final level students of CA, CWA, CS and other PG and Professional
courses
Working Executives, Entrepreneurs, Bankers, Civil Servants,
Consultants, provided they are graduates.
Selection Procedure
The
selection of students into the MBA Program (Part-time) is based
on Application Form and Personal Interviews. The applicants
are not required to write any Admission Test.
The Admissions Board evaluates an applicant on multiple criteria
i.e. past academic record and performance in interview, communication
skills, initiative, maturity, creativity, co-curricular activities
and professional and social involvement. The weightages assigned
to each of the parameters mentioned are designed to provide
a balanced evaluation of an applicant�s all-round personality.
While evaluating applicants for admission into the MBA Program
(Part-time), due weightage is given to their past biographical
and academic record. Apart from the marks/grades secured, various
academic achievements and honors obtained by students are also
considered. |
