By the My MBA Career Content Team � Find Top MBA Degree Programs Later this month, a university in the state of Michigan will be hosting an event that will bring MBAs, entrepreneurs and small businessmen and women together.
The name of the event is the E2 Detroit Entrepreneurship Conference and it is scheduled to take place on October 15. There will be two keynote speakers. The first is Rick Inatome, an entrepreneur from Michigan who co-founded two multi-million dollar companies. The second is Tom Murphy, the former mayor of Pittsburgh, who reportedly led the Steel City through a period of revitalization.
"In addition to giving our students an opportunity to pitch their business ideas, E2 Detroit will help business entrepreneurs come up with new ideas to revitalize their companies which is critical in these difficult economic times," said the university's director of business services, Judy Johncox.
