By the My MBA Career Content Team � Find Top MBA Degree Programs A major video, internet and telephone provider has recently announced that it will start supporting MBAs, entrepreneurs and other small businessmen and women by offering a webcast series.
Time Warner's Solutions for Small Business will be a free series launching on October 7. The first episode is entitled Implementing Big Marketing Ideas on a Small Business Budget. The second episode will be on November 17 and is called Accessing Capital in a Cash-Constrained Environment.
"Small businesses face unique strategic and operational challenges, and the current economic climate only makes those challenges more daunting," said Time Warner's Maureen Rooney. "These free webcasts and resources demonstrate our company's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship in the local communities we serve."
Some of the webcasts will be interactive, as their host, Monica Bertran, will be taking questions from viewers. Bertran is also an anchor for Bloomberg Television.
The webcasts will feature guests such as William Dunkelberg, an economics professor at Temple University. In addition to teaching at the university, Dunkelberg works as chief economist of the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
