MBAs and entrepreneurs in Michigan will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare for new business deals next week.

New Enterprise Forum (NEF), a not-for-profit founded in 1986, and Ann Arbor SPARK, an organization whose mission it is to drive business expansion, have organized a panel discussion on the details of venture deals for September 17 in Ann Arbor.

The discussion is the first installment in a series the partnership has organized and is entitled The Devil Is In The Details, Part 1: Term Sheets & Investor Rights. The program begins at 5:45 p.m., but interested parties are invited to arrive at 5:00 to have a chance to network with other attendees.

The roster of participants includes Uzma Ahmed, an attorney who will discuss corporate, finance and security matters; Tony Grover, co-founder of RPM Ventures; and Mike Klein, COO of Online Tech.
