MBAs Work Together To Overcome Recession

MBAs, entrepreneurs and other small businessmen and women are going to get together to discuss how to get through the recession later this month.

Small business experts are gathering on September 29, at the GrowSmartBiz Conference at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC to talk about how they plan to deal with the challenges the troubled economy has created.

"The current recession has really impacted and changed the way both large and small businesses operate," said Jody Keenan, director of the Virginia Small Business Development Center. "What remains unchanged, however, is the extra effort small businesses must exert to succeed in the marketplace against large companies."

The conference will also be an opportunity for MBAs and other professionals in the area to network. There will also be a discussion on how to raise capital with effective finance strategies and how to integrate traditional and social media into your business practices.
