George Cloutier's company, American Management Services, is in the business of revitalizing small and mid-sized operations. Cloutier's book is entitled Profits Aren't Everything, They're The Only Thing and reportedly appears on several bestseller lists.
"America's small businesses employ almost 40 percent of the workforce and generate 70 percent of new jobs," says Cloutier. "They are the key players in the financial recovery, yet they're getting virtually no help from the government."
Cloutier says his book provides entrepreneurs the tools they need to save their businesses and become self-reliant. He claims his book's success is proof that small business people want to become more independent.
