In 1997, Eric Poses decided to launch a business on a product whose heyday had seemingly come and gone long ago. But since Poses founded All Things Equal, a board game company, revenue growth has been respectable and the entrepreneur's business has been especially successful since the credit crisis began, according to the Miami Herald.
"When the economy is bad and people are feeling financially pinched, board games are very attractive," said Cliff Annicelli to the paper. Annicelli is the editor-in-chief of Playthings Magazine.
According to its website, All Things Equal now does business with retailers like Target, Barnes & Noble, Borders and Amazon and all of the company's games are made in the U.S.
