HP Decision Support Analysis Services (DSAS) team commenced in May 2005 as a global initiative to provide support to Supply Chain, Marketing, CRM, Finance and HR business functions through data mining & predictive modeling, reporting & business intelligence, business research, data management, optimization & simulation solutions. Job Description: The DSAS Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for a team of 20+ product marketing managers, supporting several TSG/ESS product lines. These include storage, servers, and associated software. The manager will be working in a shared services environment and will need to interact with directors of product marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure the team grows in terms of competence and coverage. Responsibilities * Lead a team of 20+ product marketing managers from DSAS * Work with key stakeholders to grow the business and the competence of the team * Provide direction and guidance to the team to enable the product marketing managers to prioritize and define product requirements * Partner with R&D, Sales, Presales to ensure a successful development and implementation of products and product enhancements * Work with senior product managers to define the strategic vision and product roadmap to drive product development and meet financial objectives * Work with the product marketing directors to develop short- and long-term product goals, objectives and strategies for assigned product lines * Work with internal stakeholders and external customers to define and prioritize product requirements * Ensure requirements and use cases for new products/features meet and exceed quality standards, and have been adequately researched * Collaborate with Outbound Marketing to recommend current and long-range marketing strategies for product line * Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing product lines and foster and environment that results in innovative solutions to new opportunities
