Description:
The HR Leader for
the Consulting Segment (India & ME) is ultimately responsible
for providing strong support to the business and associates. The
individual contributes, as an integral member of the leadership
team, to decisions which impact the company's operations and is
expected to: -
Be a member of
the India Leadership Team (ILT) and the Consulting Global
Services Center Leadership team, focused on developing and
directing the HR strategy in alignment with business strategy.
Proactively
identify and undertake initiatives which make the company an
employer of choice for premier talent.
Take overall
responsibility for the HR function, including talent
acquisition, learning & career development, performance
management, rewards, associate communication, and retention of
talent.
Manage and
develop the HR team.
Be responsible
for all HR aspects in the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Member of the Consulting India Leadership Team and the TOC
Global Services Center Leadership Team
Participate in
strategic decision making for the business.
Provide insights
and undertake actions on all talent aspects; advise business
leaders on talent issues.
Drive integration
across business units through consistent processes; ensure
common associate experience.
Plan, direct, and
execute all strategic projects and initiatives related to
talent.
Support strategic
business efforts such as M&A, integration of units, new offices,
etc.
Work with each
Business Leader for specific talent needs of their business /
teams.
Provide an
overall perspective vis-�-vis the talent model.
As an authorized
signatory, execute on contractual and legal documents on behalf
of the company Lead the Human Resource Function
across India & ME
Create the HR
Strategy and action plans for the Consulting Business (India &
ME) and the Consulting Global Services Center.
Prepare, own, and
track the annual HR budget.
Develop effective
strategies to improve talent attraction, engagement, and
retention.
Ultimately own
and drive processes for all HR functional areas and activities,
including: -
- Drive an aggressive talent acquisition plan for the
fiscal year, based on business growth.
- Facilitate a high performance culture; ensure an
effective performance management process and norms.
- Undertake annual compensation review and agree on
framework for decision making.
- Drive learning and career development efforts; build
associate capability via a rigorous L&D calendar.
- Facilitate talent review and succession planning;
identify key-talent and manage key talent programs.
- Create and review, from time-to-time, associate HR
polices.
- Deploy effective associate communication; play a key
role in "connecting" Associates via regular Open Houses,
info-shares, newsletters, etc.
- Create engagement and retention measures; undertake exit
interviews for critical levels.
- Ensure quality of information and overall implementation
on PeopleSoft, TALEO, and any other talent application at the
company.
- Uphold company's Code of Conduct; ensure employment
contracts and all legal matters related to associates are
documented; undertake any disciplinary actins / investigations
as per firm's Policy.
- Drive Corporate Social Responsibility.
Manage and
motivate the HR team, create responsiveness and "client"
orientation; develop constructive behaviours.
Manage all costs
related to the HR function. Integral Member of the Regional
HR Leadership Team
Work closely with
the HR Director, Asia Pacific Consulting, for a strong regional
linkage of the function and common processes.
Own a critical HR
Process(es) across the Region.

Candidate Profile:
Post Graduate
degree in management from a premier institute (XLRI / TISS /
SIBM only), with 10-12 years experience as an HR Generalist or
Consultant who: -
Displays a high
degree of business acumen.
Has knowledge of
consulting / professional services firms.
Has the ability
to partner effectively with Leaders and Senior Consultants.
Is an effective
employee advocate and trusted.
Demonstrates
excellent project management skills (e.g., multi-tasking,
planning, time management, drive for results, anticipation of
challenges, etc.).
Communicates
effectively (both oral and written).
Has good
listening skills and responsiveness.
Can work
effectively in a high growth and change environment and across
cultures.
