Dr. Philip John, with PEEJAYS Policlinic, pioneered the shifting of Psychiatry in Kerala to the open office practice system. Psychiatry is a new branch of medicine. Current research reveals that the mind is generated by the brain and there is no need for stigma or fear about psychiatric disorders. In this background, this Policlinic provides a comfortable multidisciplinary setting for consultations for children, adolescents and adults.

PEEJAYS Child Guidance Clinic (CGC) again pioneered the setting up of an exclusive Child Guidance Clinic (CGC) where children or their parents can walk in comfortably to seek help for Learning Difficulties, Poor School Performance or Emotional Problems in a setting where various specialties are available under one roof. In today's rapidly changing family and social structure, we have been able to take the CGC concept to other parts of Kerala and to the Middle East. It is to the credit of Dr. Philip John and his team that the Educational Boards began an array of reforms to enable children with Academic Skill Deficits, Learning or Behavioural Problems.
