The
Programme
Post-Graduate Programme in
Business Management for Working Managers (WMP) is a uniquely designed programme
for working executives, entrepreneurs and professionals who have a desire to
enhance their knowledge and skills in a formal setting while continuing to be
engaged in their ongoing professions / businesses.
The programme is especially structured to meet learning aspirations of
enthusiastic and bright executives, and will inculcate in them strong conceptual
fundamentals and skills required to manage businesses of the future. The WMP
will help them become management leaders and change agents to take leadership
roles in the global arena. Classes will be held in IIM Lucknow's new campus at
Noida in Sector-62.
Eligibility
Applicants must completed a
bachelor's degree programme or equivalent in any discipline recognized by -
a) All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), or
b) UGC or Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
For the bachelor degree, the
candidate must also have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or CGPA of
5.50 on a 10-point scale); 45% marks for SC / ST / PWD categories.
The candidate must also have a
minimum of 3 years of post-degree managerial, entrepreneurial and/or
professional work experience as on 1st July 2008.
The candidate must be below 45
years of age as on 1st July 2008.
Admission
Process
Admission will be through a
competitive written examination conducted by IIM Lucknow at NOIDA or New Delhi
on Sunday, April 20, 2008. The written examination will be on the pattern of
Common Admission Tests (CAT) of IIMs. The candidates short-listed after the
written examination will go through a group discussion and personal interview.
