Objective
China and Latin America are
growing markets for India, witnessing high growth in their foreign trade.
India's bilateral trade with China and Latin America has been increasing rapidly
for the last few years.
For assessing the markets of Latin America, knowledge of Spanish / Portuguese is
essential, whereas for dealing with China, it is important to have minimum
business Chinese language knowledge. These languages help to trade and
communicate better with their respective Latin American and Chinese
counterparts.
The course is designed for young entrepreneurs and executives trading with Latin
America / China and concerned Export Promotion Councils / Government /
Semi-government officials.
Eligibility
Minimum educational qualification
should be 10+2. No age limit.
Selection
Based on the interviews to be
held at IIFT's Campus.
Fee
Rs. 3,000/- per person for
Spanish & Portuguese and Rs. 3,500/- per person for Chinese Language. Only
nominal fee is being charged in view of the support from Government of India.
Dates and
Timings of the Courses
The Course in each language will
be held during January-June, 2007 from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on the alternate
days thrice a week. Classes will be held at IIFT Campus.
