Programme
The full time postgraduate
program in Business Management at Great Lakes Institute of Management is
designed to help students understand the key interactions among the functional
areas of a business system and thereby appreciate the need for developing
cross-functional perspectives in business. The knowledge thus imparted through
the program would help students address issues in their organizations and arrive
at value-enhancing decisions.
Great Lakes Institute of
Management works in close partnership with industry, starting from the process
of shaping the curriculum. The curriculum will be constantly under review to
keep it in sync with the needs of a changing market place.
Eligibility
For PGPM 2008, Great Lakes
Institute of Management will accept CAT score for the year 2006 and 2007 only.
Similarly candidate can submit GMAT score not older than 2005
All applicants should have at
least a bachelor�s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
Full time work experience of
minimum two years is highly desirable
Outstanding graduates with less
than two years of experience would be considered on a case to case basis
Admission
Procedure
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply either
by filling an online form or by purchasing the hard copy application form
available at the institute.
Candidates applying online can visit http://www.glakesonline.org/login_data.asp
and can fill up the online application form after making a payment of Rs. 900
through credit card.
Candidate can make a payment of Rs. 900 at the IMS centers
to get a form number. IMS will provide the candidate a receipt and a brochure
with a form number printed on it and candidate can use this form number to fill
the online application form by visiting http://www.glakesonline.org/login_data.asp.
Candidate can also apply by filling a hardcopy available at
the institute. candidate can avail this hadr copy by making a cash payment of Rs.
1000 at the Institute or by sending a draft (Rs. 1000) to the Institute. The
draft should be in favor of �Great Lakes Institute of Management�,
payable at �Chennai�. Additionally two self addressed slips should be sent to
the Institute along with the draft so that Institute can send the form and
brochure to the candidate at the correct address.
