In today's world of 'Info Explosion', a lot of B-schools are mushrooming. One can therefore appreciate the difficulties before the corporate world in separating the chaff from the grain. Through this dossier we would like to address these difficulties if ever so modestly. To begin with, our trust i.e. the Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT) founded the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. After a glorious record of churning out well-trained and competent engineers into the world, we soon discovered that producing mere technocrats was not enough. Technology and operations should have a human face. As a result of this we extended our activities into the field of management to address the human and managerial complexities of the corporate world. Vishwakarma Institute of Management is not just a run-of-the-mill B-School but an institution with a mission. Though comparatively young we have the advantage of youthful freshness coupled with ultramodern educational infrastructure, highly qualified faculty & motivated students.
Under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Sharad Joshi, an alumnus of IIM-A, our aim is to become nationally competitive. We believe that the best way to teach management is to practice it and our efforts are directed to achieve the same.
