The vision of JGI being nation building, the mission of MATS is to empower the youth of today as the leaders of tomorrow responsible to hold the reins of our nation and the knowledge economy.MATS considered as one of the youngest B- Schools in the elite group (Top 15 All India), MATS School of Business, started in Bangalore in 2000, is an autonomous institution offering Post Graduate Diploma in International Business which made its foray into Belgaum in 2005. MATS aims to create Entrepreneurs through its unique curriculum and Business incubation centre. The course and methodology includes extensive practical assignments such as Case Analysis, Role Plays, Current Event Analysis, Concept Review, Industry Visits, and Interface with experts, NOVA Activity (Novel Outbound Ventures in Academics) and a Two-week International exposure. SEVA (Social Entrepreneurship through Vision and Action) provides deep insight into the concept of corporate social responsibility apart from identifying rural entrepreneurial opportunities, which has become very crucial in the present context.
