The Ayanavaram Educational Trust was formed in the year 1980 by our founder Chairman Alhaj.K.Moosa, with a noble aim of promoting, social, technical and higher education. The college was started in the year 2001. Ours is a muslim minority institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Anna University �The prime concern of the entire institution is to develop creativity that technology anticipates. On this note, we welcome the fresher in this institution and hope that they will enjoy the high quality education imparted in various disciplines and upon the Foundations build a great future for themselves. Our Founder-chairman Alhaj. k.Moosa has been the building block of this college. Our Secretary Mr. M.Kader Shah has been an inspiration to all the students. The college has seven distinctive departments, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Mechanical Engineering (B.E.Tech), Information Technology (B.Tech), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) and in this year (2008-09), we are likely to start B.E. Civil Engineering. The active placement cell of our college paves way to the dreams of our students, Several campus interviews are held which enable the students to get an exposure to different companies and experience. Sports is a never ending activity in our college. Sports quota is provided for the outstanding sports students. The college premises include well laid out sports field for various sports activities. The college believes in giving as much emphasis to sports as to academics. The college comprises of a knowledgeable library with about 40,000 books. The library is accessible to the students any time. National level symposiums are conducted in each department in a well organized manner. Students are also made to present papers at seminars and in the process get hands on experience and games related to seminars are part of the curricular structure. The hostel, the Dhaanish Mahal is a place of brotherhood. A home away from home. Hostel facility is available for both men and women students. The college has a fleet of buses that ply from several parts of the city, for the convenience of local students. We take part in vivid cultural activities. Students are given exposure to media to exhibit their talents. We create awareness among the students in different areas with the help of NSS, YRC and ECO-Club, and Red Ribbon Club. The Students are provided with different scholarships according to their eligibilities, university rank holders and college toppers are honored with special scholarships. The canteen provides hygienic food and refreshments at a reasonable cost. It also sells basic needs such as stationary and junk food to the students and staff. font.
