Baroda, Michigan, incorporated in 1907, has a rich and full history. The Village was originally platted in 1860 when Michael Hauser, a pioneer from the Midwest, came to Michigan and staked out 240 acres with the hopes of establishing a town.
Baroda is nestled in the center of Berrien County in southwest Michigan, amidst farmland, wineries, and beaches and is a rural treasure. The Village is home to just under 900 residents and the slogan, �Casual Country Charm,� says a lot about the community. Our quaint brick main street reminds you of an era long ago, when life wasn�t so busy.
There are many businesses in the Village as well as along the Cleveland Avenue corridor in the Township. We have three restaurants that offer great meals as well as friendly conversation.
