IIMs to declare CAT 2007 Results on January 8, 2008
January 8, Tuesday, would see the results of CAT 2007, held
on 18 November 2007, declared, and decide fate of above 2 Lakh aspirants who
appeared in this qualifying exam and aspire to join the prestigious IIMs and
other top management institutions of the country that accept CAT Scores.
Each year, the Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted
jointly by the six IIMs. However, each IIM follows its own admission process,
independent of the other IIMs. The IIM to which the candidate has applied,
evaluates the candidate in each of a set of different areas of achievement,
including CAT Scores. Besides IIMs, various other top business institutions of
the country also use CAT Scores as one of the eligibility criteria for admission
to their management programmes.
MBA aspirants can access their results on the Internet or via SMS. CAT Scores
for individual applicants can be accessed on the CAT website
www.catiim.in on the 8th of January from 3:00
PM
onwards. The scores can be accessed by keying in the Test Registration Number
and either the Date of Birth (preferred) or the CAT Application Number. The IIMs
that have short listed the candidate for Group Discussion and Personal
Interviews (if so) will also be displayed automatically. However, the details of
the date and venue will be available by post as well as on the individual IIMs
websites at a later date.
To get the CAT results on mobile, applicants can SMS 57333
and type
CAT space - Registration Number space - Date of
Birth
OR

the TBFN 444 had a typographical error. Hence, this question will not be
considered for evaluation.

would be short-listed to appear for Group Discussions (GD) & Personal Interviews
(PI) by various institutions.
