Biocon Chief, Kiran
Mazumdar Shaw, Gives Away Championship Awards at E-Week India Closing Ceremonytext
Looking at the radiating persona
of Biocon Chief, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, with her power and successes
and awards, it would be hard to imagine that she could ever have failed. But she
has, several times over - as she herself confessed at Fusion, E-Weeks
Closing Ceremony. text
"I only have one message for
young entrepreneurs: Do not fear failure. We have grown up in a culture that
teaches us to be afraid of failure. We are constantly made to feel that we have
to succeed from Day One. This stops us from taking risks and halts our growth,"
she said. Perseverance is what kept Kiran going. "As an entrepreneur, you must
be prepared to fail. The trick is to pick yourself up and try again to succeed.
Success will definitely follow," she assures the young, spell-bound crowd.text

thumping and jumping in unison. text

transcended expectations and even hopes. Their efforts and energy were devoted
to improving our communities and our nation. They were called crazy. But perhaps

E-Week India has left all
participants with fabulous images, memories and emotions - and a new
appreciation for the energy and power of Indias future entrepreneurs. The
closing ceremony was an emotionally charged moment, perhaps it had something to
do with the song - the soul-stirring 'Lakshya' song 'Kandhon Se Kandhen Milte
Hain' - which was being played in the background. Perhaps it was the
snatches of memories it recalled - of the good times, the excitement and the
panic attacks. Perhaps because it marked the end of an exhilarating journey
