Conclave to be Held at ISB Hyderabad
Theme: "Education in India:
Educate. Enable. Empower."
On October 20, 2007
The Net Impact Club at the
Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, aims at developing sensitivity in future
business leaders so that they can bring about radical changes in society when
they reach positions of significance within their organization and the society.
So far this year, the club has
organized a Blood Donation Camp, a Fund Raising Quiz (with ASHA), Bandhan - an
event on Independence Day for under-privileged kids, a Poster Campaign on
importance of saving electricity, fund raising for scholarships for visually and
hearing impaired and a pro-bono consulting program by ISB students for the NGOs.
The Social Responsibility
Conclave, the flagship event of the Net Impact club, is being held on the
20th October 2007. The theme of this year's event is "Education in India:
Educate. Enable. Empower." Through this conclave, the club aims to recognize
the avenues through which B-schools, corporate sector, NGOs, government and
other stakeholders in the society can contribute directly towards the inclusive
growth and development in India. A rich congregation of leaders from the NGOs,
academia and politics would converge to share their thoughts and views at the
conclave and this is an incredible opportunity for students and members of the
society to interact and exchange views with these leaders.
