Introduction

Indira Institute of Management, Pune (IIMP) has the distinction of being the first Institute set up under the aegis of the Shree Chanakya Education society. IIMP started functioning in 1994, offering the MBA Programme of the University of Pune. A humble beginning with 60 students, today boasts of over 1200 students, aspiring to become able leaders in their professions. IIMP has developed into one of the finest Management and IT educational Institute in Pune.

The MBA and MCA programs offered are recognized by the All India Council For Technical Education(AICTE) and the University of Pune.

Besides the above programs IIM is also offering the Master of Computer Applications, Master of Computer Management and the Master of Personnel Management / Marketing Management Programmes are recognized by the University of Pune.

Our MBA Programme has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. NBA is an apex body of AICTE, which confers quality accreditation to educational institutions.

Courses Offered

Master of Business Administration

MBA is a two year full-time programme in Business Administration offering specialization in Marketing / Finance / Human Resource Management / Manufacturing / Systems. At IIMP the focus is on the holistic development of the individual with equal emphasis on co-curricular and extra curricular activities.

The MBA Programme of the University of Pune follows the semester system and comprises of 2 semesters in a year and 45 days project in the industry. A student can select any one of the functional electives for specialization in the second year from Marketing / Finance / HRM / Computer Management / Manufacturing Technology Management / Materials Logistics Management.

Eligibilty
A candidate should have passed the degree examination of a recognised University with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (open category) and 40% aggregate marks (reserved category) in Maharashtra only. The entrance tests will be held as per the Directives of Central & State Government. Additionally, the students will also undergo an evaluation procedure conducted by the institute.

Admission Process
IIMP has an intake of 180 seats for the MBA Programme. The selection procedure will comprise of an entrance test which will be held as per the Directives of Central & State Government. Additionally, the students will also undergo an evaluation procedure conducted by the institute.

Rs.40,000/- per year.

Masters Of Marketing Management

A two-year Programme offering a comprehensive coverage of the different courses in the functional area of Marketing. A Programme designed to give a cutting edge to those individuals planning to make a career in the dynamic field of Sales and Marketing. Emphasis will be on the integration of the Internet and IT into the discipline of marketing.

Eligibilty
A candidate who has passed the graduate exam of a recognised University with minimum 50% marks (for open category) and 45% marks (reserved category in Maharashtra only), is eligible for admission to the MMM Programme of the Pune University.

Admission Process
Selection is based upon the Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Institute, which comprises of an Aptitude Test or the score availed in the ATMA test, followed by PI.

Rs.18,000/- per year.

Masters Of Personal Management

A two year Programme tailor-made for individuals planning to pursue a career in the field of HRM. IIMP will additionally cover emerging HR tends and initiatives practiced in the contemporary business environment, along with the University prescribed curriculum.

Eligibilty
A candidate who has passed the graduate exam of a recognised University with minimum 45% marks (for open category) and 40% marks (reserved category in Maharashtra only), is said to be eligible for the MPM Programme of the Pune University.

Admission Process
Selection is through the CEE of the Institute, which comprises of an Aptitude Test followed by PI.
